After a long day at work, or with the kids, a hot shower can really help you relax. But as the hot water soothes away the stress, it is hard not to start dreaming about a spa day — the warm air, the lotion, the massage, the part where somebody else handles all of it. The problem has always been the same: to get that experience, you have to go to the spa.
And what happens instead is a routine most people never stop to examine. You step out, reach for a towel, dry your hair, then your body, then your feet. Maybe you flip the bathroom heater on. Then comes the lotion, applied in stages, with a stretch and a twist for the middle of your back that never quite works. Body massage after a shower is one of the most popular services a spa offers, but between the cost and the inconvenience of getting there, most people simply skip it. The result is Spa-Lux, an automated body drying system that also applies lotion and delivers a massage — a spa-like experience installed directly in your own bathroom. Hot air vents run along both sides and the back of the fixture to dry your body, while a salon-style hairdryer dries and styles your hair after a bath or shower. No towel necessary.

- Adjustable fan speed and temperature. Both settings are tunable, so the experience can be set for maximum comfort rather than a single fixed output.
- Articulating applicator head. The head moves up and down and side to side while dispensing lotions, essential oils, or sunscreen across the whole body, including the back. Swap the brush for a soft pad when applying lotion or oil.
- Massage and exfoliation. A massage head provides an instant post-shower massage, and a scrubber attachment handles exfoliation — the two spa services people most often give up on.
What ties the system together is the control layer. One, two, or all three functions run from an intuitive touch screen controller, so drying, application, and massage can happen in sequence or in combination without the user reaching for anything. That is the difference between a collection of bathroom gadgets and an actual spa experience: the person under the warm air is not managing the process.
